Acquisition of a stake in Gorillas
Jumbo Supermarkten and instant delivery service Gorillas have announced that they are further strengthening their partnership that was signed earlier this year. Mississippi Ventures, the investment fund of the Van Eerd family (also owners of Jumbo Supermarkten), will take a financial stake in Gorillas. In addition, Gorillas will become a co-sponsor of the cycling team Team Jumbo-Visma for several years.
Quore Capital has advised Jumbo in relation to the establishment of the partnership and Mississippi Ventures in relation to the acquisition of the financial stake in Gorillas.
